Amber and Stan Porter had a dream for their own walking horse farm before they even met.  Amber is the cousin of the great walking horse trainer Wallace Brandon.  Stan worked with Wallace and as luck would have it they met at his barn.  They began showing together under Wallace's direction.  They went on to train together at many other farms.  Once married they began to look for a farm of their own.  Like most newly weds it took a while to make their dreams but in 2006 after renting for 10 years they were able to purchase the small farm in Lewisburg .  Since then they have been working on improving the brood mare stock and finding the perfect sires for these mares.

Our Business

Our goal with ASH B Farm is to produce the most natural head shaking long striding mules and horses we can.  We also work to be an honest well respected breeder within the breeds we represent.  If you decide to send a mare to us they will come home looking as good if not better than when you dropped them off.  We take pride in treating your babies better than even our own.  We live for referrals so we want all our customers to be happy and to feel safe while your mares are in our care!  Feel free to visit any time!  While you are there feel free to pet Fisher our resident Corgi Criminal!!!!!  He is the one looking back over his shoulder at you!

The farm was built with hard work from us all so we thought a name with us all would be fitting .  It is pronounced ASH  B  because bran was added quite a bit later but what a nice suprise he was!  Named for Amber's cousin who introduced her and Stan.
